CAM allows creative names containing up to 200 characters, but Ad Expert allows creative names containing only up to 100 characters. CAM does not display an error message when this happens. To avoid this problem, limit all creative names to less than 100 characters.
By design, Flash standard creatives will show the Flash media only to Windows IE and Firefox clients. Mac OS and other browsers in Windows will display the alternate image.
If your Bing Ads account uses different credentials than your Ad Expert account, an error may occur when trying to upload creatives to Ad Expert. To avoid this problem, use your Ad Expert account to upload creatives. If you have both Bing Ads and Ad Expert accounts that you use regularly, contact Support.
If the creative tag contains more than one vendor URL, the vendor name that comes first in the alphabet is used. To resolve this issue, all creative tags should have only one vendor URL.
Some creatives that expand outside the border of the creative frame may not render correctly after upload. In these situations, creatives can be tested outside of CAM by using the free Fiddler tool. More information about how to use Fiddler can be found here.
Network issues can occasionally cause a creative to get stuck during the submission process. If CAM itself still works, you can copy the problematic creative to submit. For more information, see Copy a Creative.
If the URL provided for a creative is not correct, CAM does not issue a warning. This is one reason why it is important to test all click-through URLs before validating a creative.
If this happens, fail and delete the incorrect creative, and then upload a new creative containing the correct URL to use with your campaigns.
