  7. Click Next.
  8. Set your import options.
    • If you've never imported from Google AdWords, checking Import new items will import all of the campaign data for the selected campaigns. If you have already imported from Google AdWords, this check box will import only those items that have never been imported into Bing Ads Editor.
    • For items that have already been imported into Bing Ads Editor, you can import only those items that have been updated in AdWords. You can choose to import changes to campaign budgets, ad group and keyword bids, negative keywords, negative sites, location targeting, ad and keyword destination URLs.
    • (Optional) You can update ad and keyword destination URLs when you import from AdWords. Use the controls under Edit ad and keyword destination URLs to insert text at the end of each destination URL or to replace text within each URL.
    • (Optional) You can delete ad groups and campaigns from Bing Ads that you have already deleted from AdWords. Under Cleanup, select the check box for Delete any Bing Ads campaigns or ad groups that have also been deleted from Google AdWords.

      Important

Once you remove these campaigns or ad groups from Bing Ads, any ads or keywords associated will also be deleted.

  9. Click Next.
  10. On the Import Completed page, review the items that have been imported.

    Notes
    • While many of the fields between AdWords and Bing Ads are the same, there are some fields that do not match up. As a result, even though all selected items will be imported, some information about each item may not be imported.
    • If your AdWords campaign uses the utm_source parameter and that parameter value is Google, Adwords, or any variant of those (such as googleshopping or AdwordsIndia), the value will be replaced by bing. This will prevent your imported campaigns from reporting incorrect source information.

For example, http://www.example.com/?utm_source=google will be imported as http://www.example.com/?utm_source=bing.
