Create campaigns

Learn how to create one or more new campaigns in Microsoft Bing Ads Editor v11.

You can create a single campaign or multiple campaigns, and then create ad groups, ads, and keywords later.

  1. In tree view from the left panel, select the account in which you want to create a new campaign.
  2. In the Manager pane, click Add campaign.
  3. In the Editor pane, enter the appropriate information in the Campaign name and Time zone boxes.
  4. Set your budget:
    • Enter a budget amount under Budget.
    • For Budget type, select either Daily or Monthly.
    • If your budget type is Daily, under Daily budget options, select either Standard or Accelerated.
Notes
  • After you create a campaign and before you upload it to your Bing Ads account online, you can edit the time zone setting in the campaign's Editor pane. However, you cannot change the time zone setting after you upload the campaign.
  • Ad groups that target specific days of the week or parts of the day (also known as "day-part targeting" or "day-parting") will display ads on search results pages based on the time zone of the person who performs the search. The time zone is determined by the IP address of that person's computer.
  • Your campaign is now ready for you to create ad groups, ads, keywords, and bids. Next steps:
  • To activate changes that you make in Bing Ads Editor, you must post them to your Bing Ads account.

  1. In the tree view from the left panel, select the account in which you want to create new ad groups.
  2. In the Manager pane, click Make multiple changes > Add/update multiple campaigns.
  3. In the Make multiple changes dialog box, under Add campaign data, do one of the following:
    • Paste data using the suggesting headings
      1. Click Insert headings.
      2. Underneath the headings row, paste the spreadsheet data.
      3. Click Edit headings.
      4. Under Edit headings, make sure that the correct heading is selected in the drop down box for each column.
    • Paste data from a spreadsheet that includes column headings
      1. Paste the spreadsheet data into the text box.
      2. Click Edit headings.
      3. Under Edit headings, make sure that the correct heading is selected in the drop down box for each column.
  4. Click Next.
  5. On the Import Completed page, after you review your changes, click Close.
Notes
