Set default values Microsoft Advertising Editor to be used whenever you create a new campaign, ad group, or keyword.
You can set default values that will be used whenever you create a new campaign, ad group, or keyword. The defaults are used whether you create a new item in Microsoft Advertising Editor or you import data from a spreadsheet.
What defaults can I set?
- Time zone
- Google Ads import settings
- Budget type and daily strategy
- Ad distribution (content or search network)
- Language
- Keyword match type
How do I set the default values?
For Windows:
- Click Tools in the menu bar and select Options.

Click the Defaults tab.

Select the default values that you want to use.

For Mac:

Click Microsoft Microsoft Advertising Editor in the menu bar and select Preferences.
