How to import a campaign from AdWords or other programs

You can import entire campaigns - complete with their original ad groups, ads, keywords, and negative keywords - into Bing Ads from Google AdWords or other online advertising programs.
Important

You can now import from Google AdWords:

  • 4 million keywords and ads combined
  • 2 million ad group-level and campaign-level negative keywords combined
  • 1 million ad group product partitions
  • 200,000 all other entities combined

Import campaign

If you already have campaigns in other online advertising programs, you can import them to Bing Ads, saving you the trouble of having to set them up from scratch. You can import directly from your Google AdWords account, or you can create an import file and upload it to Bing Ads.

Before you begin importing campaigns from Google AdWords to Bing Ads, be sure to review Importing your campaigns: Requirements. When you're finished importing, you can view your data and have the opportunity to fix any issues.

  • Certain situations require special attention when importing directly from AdWords. Review What information is included when I import from AdWords for more information.
  • Bing Ads does not save your Google AdWords sign-in information nor use that information for any purpose other than the import process.
  • If you exceed the limits when importing your campaigns from Google AdWords, try selecting groups of campaigns, instead of selecting them all. This will ensure that you don't exceed the maximum limits for import.
