How to change your status, bid, and other settings

You can change your campaign status and budget, your ad group bids and end dates, and other settings right from the Campaigns page. This article shows you how.

You can change some of your campaign, ad group, and keyword settings right from the Campaigns page. Take a look the examples below to see what you can change.

To change campaign status or budget amountexpando image
  1. Click Campaigns at the top of the page.
  2. Click the Campaigns tab.
  3. Click Columns and ensure the all of the columns you want to see are checked. Then click OK.
  4. Hover over the field you want to edit and click on the small pen icon that appears.

To change your budget type, take a look at your different budget options. Other changes can be made at the campaign level by clicking the campaign name (in the Campaign column) and then clicking Settings. To have the Campaigns tab show only specific rows, click the Filters button and then complete the information.

Note

Campaigns and ad groups become enabled immediately after you resume them. However, it might take a few hours for your ads to be displayed. If they still are not being displayed after four hours, click Support at the bottom of any Bing Ads page.

  1. Click Campaigns along the top of the page.
  2. Click the Campaigns tab.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the campaigns that you want to update.
  4. Click Edit, and then click Change budgets.
  5. To set the budget to a specific amount:
    1. In the Action list, choose Set.
    2. Choose whether you want to use a standard or accelerated budget type.
    3. Enter the amount you want to set the budgets to.
    4. Click Save.
  6. To increase the budgets by a specific percentage or amount:
    1. In the Action list, choose Increase.
    2. Choose which budgets you want to set.
    3. Enter the percentage or amount you want to increase your budgets by.
    4. Click Save.
  7. To decrease the budgets by a specific percentage or amount:
    1. In the Action list, choose Decrease.
    2. Choose which budgets you want to set.
    3. Enter the percentage or amount you want to decrease your budgets by.
    4. Click Save.

  1. Click Campaigns located at the top of the page.
  2. Click the Ad groups tab.
  3. Click Columns and ensure the all of the columns you want to see are checked. Then click OK.
  4. Hover over the field you want to edit and click on the small pen icon that appears.
  5. After you are done making your changes, click Save.
Notes
  • Other changes can be made at the ad group level by clicking the ad group name (in the Ad group column) and then clicking Settings.
  • To have the Ad groups tab show only specific rows, click the Filters button and then complete the information.
  • After you resume an ad group that had previously paused, your ad group will become enabled again in four to five hours.

  1. Click Campaigns located at the top of the page.
  2. Click the Keywords tab.
  3. Click Columns and ensure the all of the columns you want to see are checked. Then click OK.
  4. Hover over the field you want to edit and click on the small pen icon that appears.
  5. After you are done making your changes, click Save.

To have the Keywords tab show only specific rows, click the Filters button and then complete the information.
