Promotional offers are a great way for new customers to try out Bing Ads. If you haven’t added your promotional code, here are instructions on how to redeem your promotional offer. Before you can redeem a promotional offer, add a credit or debit card.expando image

Before you can redeem your promotional offer, you need to have a payment method associated with your account. If this is a postpay account, you can use a credit card or debit card (not valid for accounts in India). If this is a prepay account, you can use a credit card, debit card (not valid for accounts in India), or PayPal accounts (US dollar must be the Bing Ads account currency).

Promotional offers are intended for customers who are interested in advertising on the Bing Network. Having a payment method indicates that interest, and it also gives customers a way to pay once the promotional balance is depleted.

How do I add my credit card or other payment method?

If you have a payment method, but it has not been set as primary, you won’t be able to redeem your promotional code.

To set your payment method as primary:

  1. Click the gear icon gear icon, and then click Accounts & Billing.
  2. Click the Payment Methods tab.
  3. Next to the payment method click Set as primary.

After you use up your promotional amount, we will charge your primary payment method (postpay account) or deduct funds (prepay account) to cover the cost of your clicks.

To redeem this promotional offer, you need to use a credit card or debit card as your primary payment method.expando image

Prepay accounts can use credit cards or debit cards (not valid for accounts in India). You cannot redeem your promotional offer if you have a prepay account and pay by check, bank transfer, or other offline payment method. After the promotional offer has expired or the promotional amount has been used up, you can change your primary payment method to any valid form of payment. With our new customer promotion, we limit promotional offers to one per customer. If you have previously redeemed a promotional code that is part of this promotion, you’ll see this message. Keep in mind that if there are multiple users accessing this account, another user might have redeemed the prmotional offer.
